She began her piano studies at the Gnessin music school for gifted children, continued at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire Academic Music College, studying under Prof. Tigran Alikhanov (Head of the Conservatoire in 2005-2009) and graduated with honours. During her studying she toured regularly in different Russian cities and abroad (such as Graz, Austria, where Olga took part in the concerts at the Europe Association of Piano Teachers (EPTA) Congress, and Brazil).
    Olga won a place at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire where she studied under Professor Nikolai Petrov, graduated with honours and completed the Postgraduate course at the Conservatoire studying under Professor Igor Kotliarevsky. During her studies Olga participated regularly in master courses held by Professor of the Musikhochschule Zurich Hans Schicker.
    In 2001-2004 she worked as a teacher of solo piano and chamber music at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire Music College.
    Olga Papikian studied singing under Prof. Valentina Sherbinina (Moscow, RU), Prof. Hanno Blaschke (Munich, DE); she completed the Postgraduate course under Prof. Peter Brechbühler (Luzern, CH).
    Since 2005 Olga has been living in Germany (Munich) and has been working as a teacher for piano and singing (Städtische Musikschule Garching, VHS Hallbergmoos), she also holds regularly masterclasses for piano, chamber music and singing in Munich (Germany) and Moscow (Russia).
    In 1997 she won the 2nd Prize at the Newport International Piano Competition where she performed the 1st Concerto by Franz Liszt with the BBC Orchestra of Wales conducted by Howard Shelley. In 2001 she won Diploma at the International J. Brahms Competition (Poertschach, Austria) in category chamber music. Her solo performance at the international conference of the World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA, 2009) and her Liszt-CD (Art Classic, 2006), were awarded with Diploma of Excellence of WPTA.
    Olga Papikian participated in numerous international music festivals such as Russian Winter (Moscow, 2001), Musical Kremlin (Moscow, 2001), International Bach Festival (Tver, Russia,2002), Festival of the Croatian Music in Vienna (2008), EPTA World Piano Conference (Novi Sad, Serbia, 2009). She is a member of jury of international competitions for piano and chamber music, She gives concerts as a solo pianist, a soloist with different orchestras, a member of chamber ensembles and as an opera-concert-oratorio singer in West Europe and Russia. She also makes recordings under different labels.
